GenzHours

GenzHours is the Windows time tracker for remote teams. It logs work in five-minute blocks, sets idle time aside, and measures each person against their own shift. Everything it sends is encrypted in transit.

Runs on Windows 10 and 11. Encrypted in transit. Your own server and database.

Every five minutes the app saves a work log: activity counts, the apps in use and a screenshot. Five minutes without touching the keyboard or mouse and the time is marked idle, then set aside. It never counts as work.

  1. 01

    Clock in

Your people sign in to the Windows app and press Start. Nothing is recorded until they do.

  2. 02

    Every five minutes, a log

The app saves how many keys and clicks (never which ones), the apps and websites in use, and a screenshot of each screen.

  3. 03

    Step away, and it notices

Five minutes without keyboard or mouse input and tracking pauses. Idle time is kept apart and never counted as work. One click resumes.

  4. 04

    Managers see the whole picture

Hours, productivity, apps and screenshots for exactly the people they are allowed to see. Reports export to Excel.

Each person is measured against their own expected hours, so a five-hour part-timer isn't judged by an eight-hour day. Admins decide which apps count as productive. Every number fits on one screen.

Sample analytics dashboard: average productivity, today's attendance, a productivity trend by team, top apps, team ranking and top performers.

Overtime doesn't inflate the score, and days off aren't scored as zero.

Built inside a BPO that runs real night shifts, for managers who need clean records, not guesswork.

Screenshots of every screen

Up to three monitors, every five minutes, only while the timer runs. Stored privately, and viewing links expire after an hour.

Counts, not keystrokes

Key presses and clicks are counted to measure activity. Which keys were pressed is never recorded.

Apps and websites

Time per app and per website, sorted into productive, neutral and unproductive by your admins.

Website-only mode

For medical offices and other sensitive work: browsers report the website name only. No page titles, no full addresses.

Roles that match your org

Managers see their teams, team leads see theirs, HR manages people, employees see themselves.

Excel reports, ready to send

Per employee and per team, plus start-time reports. Summary, daily breakdown, app usage and activity, each on its own sheet.

Hours that fit the person

Set expected hours for each person, from 1 to 16 a day. Part-timers are scored against their own shift.

Written for the IT team that will review it. Everything here is what the product does today, not a roadmap.

Data travels from the employee's PC to your own server over HTTPS. Screenshots then go to private, encrypted storage on Amazon Web Services.

Encrypted in transit

Logins, work logs and screenshots travel over HTTPS between the app and your server. Certificates renew on their own.

Your own server and database

Each client runs on a dedicated server. Your data never shares a database with another company.

An installer built for you

Each client's app contains only its own settings. Nothing about any other customer ships inside it.

Private screenshot storage

Screenshots are stored privately and encrypted on Amazon Web Services. Viewing links expire after an hour.

Passwords are never stored

Only a one-way hash is kept. Changing a password signs that person out everywhere.

Need-to-know access

Five roles. Managers and team leads only see the people on their own teams.
